The Boomers will play Team USA in a highly anticipated basketball match at the Rio Olympics on Wednesday night.
The USA roster is stacked with NBA players while the Australian Boomers team has it’s fair share of NBA players. There are seven Aussie players with NBA experience. They are Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova, Andrew Bogut, Joe Ingles, Aron Baynes, Cameron Bairstow and David Andersen. Andersen played in the NBA in 2009-2011.
The interesting thing to consider in this matchup is that the Boomers have more NBA champions in the squad, that is if you count Luc Longley who is an assistant coach.
